New Love

Friday, April 29
So whilst in China and HK, I found love. Sorry, Rawrr...

..but Haagen-Dazs ice cream is just too good :P

There are no Haagen-Dazs shops in AUSTRALIA! D= That's right. Disappointment T^T Ate so much ice cream over there; I'm so FATTT :( But yeh, the ice cream is sooooo good... Loved it so much that I joined the fb page aiming to bring Haagen-Dazs to Aussie :) M suggested writing an email to the company about opening a shop in Sydney. That'd be awesome if there was one. Omg, I'm going on about an ice cream brand.... I'm such a fatty, lol.

Hahas, I'm procrastinating right now. Should be doing tutor hw but I have multiple windows open and have the TV showing the Royal Wedding, LOL. Looking through photos of my trip. Didn't think it was possible to look so retarded in so many photos... T^T Okays, gunna try and do some work now.

#17 I want to be pretty, and be able to believe it. But believing is too difficult...

Never Judge A Girl By Her Clothes

Thursday, April 28
So I was going to write more about my trip but I really can't be bothered anymore. Instead, I would like to remind some people (hint hint) that I was NOT pedo-ing during my stay in China and Hong Kong. It was simple observations that I made :P Oh, I didn't finish telling my story before Jap class. Do remind me to finish because it really isn't something you see everyday. Well, maybe in China, but DEFINITELY NOT in Australia.

Okay, now on to a slightly different topic: Glasses look good on SOME guys. Emphasis on the 'some'. So don't every guy go out and buy a pair of plastic glasses, put them on, go walking on the streets and expect to pick up girls. It doesn't work that way. Just pointing that out because it seemed to me that Hong Kong guys think that way. Obviously not every guy, but from my short time there, it seemed like most guys did. Yes, glasses are so in right now and do look good on, again, SOME guys. We all know you want to look good, but the fact is, glasses can give the opposite effect. And as witnessed by me, a guy can get a rejection from a girl because she claims that by wearing glasses which you don't need is like pretending to be someone you're not. And what a girl wants is to know you for who you really are. I think that was pretty well said. So, to all guys out there, do make an attempt to look good, but don't stress and try too hard ;)

#16 I used to believe that fairytales could happen in real life.

BACK TO CIVILISATION AT LAST!

Wednesday, April 27
Well, technically, I was back to civilisation when the plane landed in HK, BUT I would like to think that Australia is better (although their transport system is waayyyyyyyyyyyyy more efficient). Anywho, let me just say that I just experienced both the worst and most amazing time overseas.

Good thing number one: cheap - that's all I have to say
Good thing number two: witnessing some of the most beautiful scenery in China (eg. Huangshan)
Good thing number three: taking a break
Good thing number four: spending time with family
Good thing number five: was in a different city every day (stayed in some really nice hotels)

Bad thing number one: toilets in China are a hole - I need not say more
Bad thing number two: people spit and smoke EVERYWHERE
Bad thing number three: sleeping on the old and creepy train
Bad thing number four: did I mention the toilets?
Bad thing number five: was in a different city every day (really tiring)
Bad thing number six: spent every moment missing someone and being homesick :(
Bad thing number seven: ...

THIS.
ONE.
IS.
VERY.
IMPORTANT...

>>> Didn't have enough time to shop!

Yup, that's right. If you read that carefully, it could've translated to "NO SOUVENIRS" :P Haha, I'll leave you guys to think about that while I catch up on some rest because I didn't sleep well on the flight home and still feel slightly sick.

#15 I get pissed really easily when I'm sleepy.

Bad Dream..

Sunday, April 10
Haven't posted in a while. So on the request of J, here it is. The holidays have started!!!!!! So excited about China. Can't wait to see all the photo opportunities. And try all the really good foods. And shop in Hong Kong. And ride the bullet train across scenic landscapes. Just thinking about it - yeh, just excited in general.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------.

Went shopping with my mum yesterday. Haven't been in AAAAAAAAAAAGES. Bought a new case for the craptop. Walked for 5+ hours. Sooooo tired. But besides that, it was a great day. It really reminded me of when I was a kid. See, my mum used to work in the city. And on Saturdays, her work finished at noon. So I used to take the train with her early in the morning to the city. She'd buy me congee for breakky and then she'd take me to her workplace where I sat in the counter corner playing on the computer, or sometimes helped out by putting labels on envelopes. When she finished work, we went to eat lunch. We'd either eat at Market City's food court or eat at a little Japanese restaurant. That was when she first took me to the little Japanese restaurant where the takoyaki is still the best ^^ I think this was when I first fell in love with Jap food. Then we'd get dessert at Gelatissimo - I'd always get chocolate, mango or tiramisu. After that, shopping. We'd walk all over the city. And I'd ALWAYS complain about being tired walking up hill. When my mum tried on shoes, I'd always find a seat and wait. Yesterday, I complained about walking up hill. We shared BBQ pork and rice at Market City. Drank blended ice - Mum complained about it being too sweet (just like she used to). I sat in a chair while she tried on shoes. Then Dad would call and we'd go home. Yesterday was one of the best days I've had for a long time. Not because we bought a lot (because we didn't). Or simply because we went shopping. But because it all reminded me of the time when everything was simpler, and in some ways better. Anyways, time for me to stop reminiscing.

Although I slept well last night, I had a bad dream. It was a stupid dream really. Don't really rememebr it clearly, though... Oh wells.

#14 I used to draw, A LOT.

Hard to speak

Friday, April 1
Literally, hard to speak because my tongue hurts; so bad it's hard to eat. Tried using salt water to disinfect and it just stung like hell..

There are a lot of things I'd like to say but it's hard to speak my mind. Why? Because it feels like I'm just being nosy? Because I'm afraid of hurting them? Because I don't know what to say? Because I'm afraid of the truth? Because it means that I'll be acting like a b!tch?

Raging. Questioning. Understanding. Rejecting. Apologising. Boy, would I like to give some people a piece of my mind...but that's not going to happen any time soon. I just don't have the strength.

"Let's try take it back before it all went wrong.." Wouldn't we all like that?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------.

ONE MORE WEEK! Time is going by so fast. It's already the end of term 1 and the first school break is here. I'm excited about it but not at the same time. Why do we have to get work to do over the holidays? The point of having a break is to have a BREAK from school work. Why do teachers aim to ruin our holidays this way?

#13 I only say "I love you" when I'm 100% sure that I mean it.
